Title:
BOTTOM DEAD POINT CORRECTING DEVICE FOR PRESS MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02165900
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make safe correction without unlocking a die height adjusting mechanism by setting a knuckle fulcrum shaft position freely displaceable in a vertical direction and correcting the position of the knuckle fulcrum shaft according to the fluctuation in the bottom dead point position of a slide.

CONSTITUTION: This press machine has a knuckle mechanism 7 which changes the rotation of a crank shaft to a horizontal reciprocating motion and applies this horizontal reciprocating motion as a vertical driving to a plunger 12. The knuckle fulcrum shaft of this knuckle mechanism is formed as an eccentric shaft and is rotated by as much as a proper desired angle, by which the position of the knuckle fulcrum shaft 11 is finely adjusted in the vertical direction. The bottom dead point position of the plunger and mechanism, hence the slide, is vertically moved in this way. The knuckle fulcrum shaft 11 is made vertically movable by rotation of a servo motor 28. Since the knuckle mechanism is mechanically separated from the die height adjusting mechanism 15, there is no need for unlocking the die height adjusting mechanism and the bottom dead point position is safely corrected.
