Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute design improved in accuracy with substantially no influence of lack of leaning data by calculating a common probability density not depending on the kinds of the boundaries of voices and multiplying this probability density and multinominal coeffts.
CONSTITUTION: A time window section 7 in a boundary detecting section 7 extracts the melcepstrum coeffts. of 0 to 7th order in a range of time width 10 frames from a characteristic parameter time series as 80-dimension vector (fixed length segments) and outputs the time series R2 of these fixed length segments. A common probability density calculating section 18 calculates the probability density of the 80 dimension gauss distribution for the fixed length segments of the central time. Boundary likelihood calculating sections 19-1 to 19-K calculate the likelihood at which the vocal sound boundaries in the voices exist at the center of the fixed length segments R2 and output the same as boundary likelihood time series C1 to CK. An HMM calculating section calculates the recurrence formulas based on viterbi algorithm by referencing the results of the boundary detection of the boundary detecting section 7 and the HMM parameters.
