Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the twist of center yarn and improve the productivity of a braider by placing a covering member on the center yarn up to the braiding position or thereabout and preventing the intertwining of the center yarn with a yarn supplied from an orbit-traveling bobbin carrier.
SOLUTION: The center yarn (y) delivered from a nearly horizontally arranged bobbin carrier is passed through a center yarn introducing apparatus, inserted into a covering member 1 inserted to a hollow bolt f3 and transferred to the braiding position on a mandrel. The covering member 1 is freely movable, covers the center yarn (y) up to the braiding position or thereabout and prevents the contact and intertwining of the center yarn (y) with a yarn delivered from a bobbin carrier traveling along an orbit by the rotation of a gear d1.
