Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braid machine which braids linear bodies delivered from bobbins placed on carriers to produce a braid with high accuracy and at high speed, and which achieves extended life and reduced noise.SOLUTION: A braid machine 110 includes: a guide disk 130 which has a first guide groove 140 and a second guide groove 150, and in which the first guide groove 140 and the second guide groove 150 each make a round and intersect each other on the guide disk 130; a first carrier 160 on which a bobbin 290 is placed, and which runs along the first guide groove 140; and a second carrier 170 on which a bobbin 300 is placed, and which runs along the second guide groove 150 in a direction opposite to that of the first carrier 160. The length in the vertical direction of the engagement part of the second guide groove 150 engaged with the second carrier 170 is larger than the length in the vertical direction of the engagement part of the first guide groove 140 engaged with the first carrier 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
