PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom for the installation site of a brake control system by providing a more compact brake control system.SOLUTION: An advancing/retreating device 4 for advancing/retreating a braking element in a brake motion direction X, the device 4 includes: a first push rod 27 connected to the braking element; a rotary gear part 41 provided rotatably about a central axis extending along the brake motion direction X and having the first push rod 27 screwed on the inner peripheral side and a first saw-toothed serration 45 formed at an end part on the opposite side X2 of the braking side in the brake motion direction; a stationary gear part 42 having a second serration 46 formed at an end part on the braking side X1 in the brake motion direction so as to meshed with the first serration 45; and a second push rod 28 having a third serration 47 driven in the brake motion direction X so as to be capable of freely advancing/retreating and formed at an end part on the braking side X1 in the brake motion direction so as to meshed with the first serration 45, the phase of the third serration 47 being shifted to that of the serration 46, in a brake control system, along with the movement of the third serration 47 on the braking side X1 in the brake motion direction from the state that the first serration 45 is meshed with the second serration 46, the rotary gear part 41 is rotated by the first serration 45 that is passing over the second serration 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
