To provide a braking device in an experimental device by a train model capable of certainly braking and stopping a model vehicle by a plurality of friction plates arranged in a cascade form.
The braking device in the experimental device by the train model is provided with a rubber plate 7 formed with a space corresponding to a center line of the running train model 31; a spacer 8 with high rigidity having larger spaces 8A, 8B than the spaces 7A, 7B corresponding to a center line of the train model 31 and arranged at a circumference base part of the rubber plate 7; and a braking cylinder 9 for clamping the rubber plate 7 and the spacer 8. The plurality of braking cylinders 9 are arranged in the cascade form.
