Abstract:
To provide a braking device configured so that distortion on an inner peripheral surface of a ring is small and the ring is tightly fixed on a plate.SOLUTION: A braking device includes: a cylindrical inner peripheral surface 11; a ring (outer ring 10) having a side face 14 directed to an axial direction of the inner peripheral surface 11; a plate (mounting plate 85) having a first face configured by fixing the side face 14 of the ring by laser welding and a second face 852 opposite to the first face; a shaft arranged on the inside of the inner peripheral surface 11; and a brake mechanism capable of forming a brake state in which a shaft is not rotated around the ring and a release state in which the shaft is rotated. The plate has dot-like first welding marks Wn (W1 to W6) separated from each other at an equal interval in a peripheral direction of the inner peripheral surface 11 on positions overlapped to the ring observing from the axial direction on the second face 852 and a second circular welding mark WC along the peripheral direction.
