PURPOSE: To increase toughness of a tooth tip and reduce occurrence of heat crack by brazing a high-speed tool steel piece to a blade made of steel and forming the tooth tip by machining.

CONSTITUTION: A brazing hot saw is provided with a blade 1 which is made of steel plate and in which teeth 2 are formed in a peripheral fringe section of a disc and high-speed tool steel pieces 3 which are brazed to each tooth 2 of the blade 1 one by one. On this occasion, the high-speed tool steel pieces 3 which are quenched and tempered in advance to stabilize their quality are brazed to each tooth 2 of the blade 1 made of steel plate in which teeth are formed in the peripheral fringe section of the disc, and then tooth tip is formed by machining. The temperature for quenching the high-speed tool steel pieces 3 is 1000-1300°C, and the temperature for tempering the high-speed tool steel pieces is 450-650°C. Also, wax to be used in brazing is hard wax whose temperature for brazing is higher than 500°C.
