Abstract:
To provide a design method of a color generation structure for generating a black color looking black by human eyes and a chromatic color looking brilliant.SOLUTION: A color generation structure 10 is provided which includes a plurality of nano disks 20, a dielectric layer 30, and a base layer 40, and generates a color by plasmon absorption. A design method of the color generation structure includes: a first process of initializing the configuration of the color generation structure 10; a second process of calculating a chromaticity coordinate in a predetermined three color colorimetric system of the reflected light when a predetermined light source is radiated to the color generation structure 10 having undergone the initialization of the configuration in the first process; a third process of evaluating the chromaticity coordinate having been calculated in the second and setting the configuration of the color generation structure 10 again; and a fourth process of repeating the second process and third process after the third process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
