Abstract:
To provide a brush roll that suppresses misalignment between a brush disk and a roll shaft and also can be reasonably manufactured.SOLUTION: A brush roll 1 comprises a plurality of brush disks 4, a roll shaft 2 mounted with the plurality of brush disks 4, a plurality of key members 7 projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the roll shaft 2 and also put in key grooves 61 of the plurality of brush disks 4, and a pair of flanges 3 holding the plurality of brush disks 4 therebetween. The plurality of brush disks 4 includes a plurality of first brush disks 4A having key grooves 61 formed such that the key members 7 are put in leaving gaps, and second brush disks 4B having key grooves 61 formed such that the key members 7 are put in without any gap and smaller in number than the first brush disks 4A. The second brush disks 4B are held between the plurality of first brush disks 4A at predetermined intervals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
