Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a brushless DC motor by decreasing the eddy current loss in a motor case.
CONSTITUTION: A mounting part 21a is formed on an internal wall of a conductive motor case 23 of a generally cylindrical shape to fix a stator coil 31 wound in this mounting part 21a. In a brushless DC motor in which a rotary shaft 26 inserted into this stator coil 31 is rotatably supported by the motor case 23 and a magnet 28a is fixed to the rotary shaft 26 in the stator coil 31, annular groove spaces S are formed in the motor case 23 on both sides in an axial direction of the rotary shaft 26 of the mounting part 21a.
