Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket wheel type unloader for damping collision of a bucket with a ship bottom.
SOLUTION: A bucket wheel type unloader 10 has a bucket wheel 28 provided with plural buckets 36 arranged on the tip end of a vertical boom 18 and by turning the bucket wheel 28, any substance loaded inside of a ship is scraped off by means of a buckets 36 and scraped off loaded substance is transferred to a conveyer 34 including fins and transported to the outside of a ship by means of the conveyer 34 including fins. In this case, the fixed link 46 of a parallel link mechanism 44 is arranged on the vertical boom 18 and the bucket wheel 28 is arranged in the link 48 opposing to the fixed link 46 of the parallel link mechanism 44 and also a shock damping means 60 is provided for cancelling the weight of the bucket wheel 28 and allowing bucket wheel 28 to escape upward to absorb the reaction when any reaction more than a preset level acts upward on the bucket wheel 20.
