To clear a bucket wheel of a solid dropped from a bucket by a simple configuration.
The bucket wheel 5 which has a wheel boss 7, a wheel rim 8 which is arranged coaxially with the wheel boss 7 outside a radial direction of the wheel boss 7, a plurality of buckets 6 provided at an outer periphery, and a plurality of spoke frames 9 which connect the wheel boss 7 and the wheel rim 8, further has an elastic band 12 of a strip form extending from an inner periphery 11 of the wheel rim 8 toward the spoke frames 9 positioned at the opposite side in a rotation direction. The elastic band 12 is fixed so that one end 15 in an extending direction contacts with the inner periphery 11 of the wheel rim 8 over the whole width, and the other end 16 in the extending direction is fixed so as to be inclined in a width direction with respect to the inner periphery 11 of the wheel rim 8 facing the radial direction.
