Title:
BULGE CROP-PROCESSING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3883489
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein the posture of a bulge part is unstable when cutting a stem and fibrous roots to cause difference in the finishing states of the stem and the fibrous roots and to cause damage on the bulge part often by the tilting of the bulge part by some causes such as the speed balance between a conveying device and a stem-extending device in a conventional bulge crop-processing machine which has the conveying device attached thereto, and the stem-extending device installed in combination with the conveying device.
SOLUTION: The bulge crop-processing machine has the stem-extending device installed in the lower part of the conveying device, and the stem-extending device is divided so as to have a tandem structure. The front part is formed into a stem-pulling belt device and tilted to the conveying device so that the distance between them may gradually be enlarged rearward. The relative speed of the front part is heightened so that the stem may be pulled down and the bulge part may be stuck to and supported by the conveying device to arrange the conveyed posture, and the rear part is formed into a stem-sending belt device regulated so as to move parallel to and at nearly the same speed as the conveying device. As a result, the vertically inverted posture of the bulge crop is kept and stabilized to improve the finished state by preventing the damage of the bulge part when cutting the stem and the fibrous roots.
