Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precious metal recovery method in which precious metal can be recovered from used waste plastics containing precious metal such as silver salt photographic films and electronic circuit substrates containing precious metal, the recovered precious metal can be refined at high purity, and precious metal can be recovered at low treatment cost by simplifying a precious metal recovery step, and a precious metal recovery device for performing the method.
SOLUTION: The precious metal recovery method and the precious metal recovery device comprise a heating step of heating plastic wastes containing precious metal with alkaline solution, and an electrolytic treatment step of performing electrolysis of acidic treatment solution obtained by acidic treatment of solids in a treated mixture generated in the heating step.
