Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV receiver that can receive signals of both transport stream forms as a re-transmission signal consisting of a plurality of transport streams(TS) of a BS digital broadcast and a re-transmission signal consisting of a single TS of a CS digital broadcast in a CATV digital broadcast service.
SOLUTION: A TS separate section of the receiver is provided with a plurality of TS/single TS discrimination means that detects presence of a frame header included in a plurality of transport streams.
