Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a calibration curve, which can be applied to the measurement of blood and urine, by using the calibrating liquid at a concentration near the normal range of the blood serum of human being and the calibrating liquid at an ion concentra tion near the specified value.
CONSTITUTION: As the calibrating liquid for clinical electrolyte analyzing device with the thinning method using an ion selective electrode, two kinds of the calibrating liquid are used, and the calibrating liquid at a concentration near the normal range of blood serum of human being is used as a first calibrating liquid. In the case where CMC2 is used as one objective component of a second calibrating liquid, concentration CNC2 of the ion as the interfering ion against the objective ion is set at a value near the numeric computed on the basis of the expression. In the expression, KMN means a selective coefficient of the interfering ion against the objective ion near the worst value, CMC1 means the concentration of the objective ion of the first calibrating liquid, CNC1 means concentration of the interfering ion of the first calibrating liquid, CX means concentration of the objective ion near the upper limit of the normal value at the urine level CNX means concentration of the interfering ion near the normal value at the urine level.
