Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extend a range of viewing a picked-up image by properly turning and inverting a liquid crystal screen of a camera main body side face opened/ closed and turned freely.
CONSTITUTION: When a liquid crystal display panel 16 is turned in the direction of the arrow B, a liquid crystal display screen 17 is set downward with respect to a camera main body 11. Furthermore, the panel 16 is turnable by 180° in the direction of the arrow F. When the screen 17 is directed upward through 90° turning, a video image changeover function inverting the horizontal direction of the image is acted and the video image is equal to a mirror image. When the panel 16 is turned forward, the screen 17 is directed to a lens 12 of the main body 11. A panel mechanism section 15 conducting opening/closing/turning of the panel 16 changes freely the opening/closing angle and the turning angle of the panel 16 in response to the operating state of a tape recorder 10 to allow the user to view or pick up the video image on the screen 17 at a different angle.
