Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of fuel supply by setting a crank angle to be a fuel injection period in all operation range, corresponding to the fuel injection quantity set by an injection quantity setting means, into a specific range.
CONSTITUTION: A gas fuel feed passage 18 is connected to a fuel injection valve 12, and the gas fuel feed passage 18 is provided with a high pressure gas cylinder 20. A control unit 30 includes an injection quantity setting means 36 for controlling the valve open period of the fuel injection valve 12 so as to set the fuel injection quantity, and an adjusting means 38 for adjusting fuel injection so that the set fuel injection quantity is out of a specified range. A crank angle (θn) to be the fuel injection period in all operation range corresponding to the fuel injection quantity set by the injection quantity setting means 36 is set into a range of an expression I or II (M: 0, 1,..., N: the number of cylinders) by an adjusting means 38. The fuel injection timing can thereby avoid a range where pressure fluctuation becomes large, so that the accuracy of fuel supply is improved.
