To match the line of sight of a display device wit that of a camera so as to satisfy the function and consideration of a camera system as a wearable camera by providing an optical path means for leading light beams emitted from a display means to the eyeball of a wearing person or the like.
This camera device is provided with the display device obtained by joining the two of a prism 2 for projecting and displaying the image of a liquid crystal display device(LCD) 4 to the eye 50 of the wearing person and a camera main body 1 for obtaining videos and images by allowing an image pickup element 3 to form images on the prism 2. Then, the camera provided with the display device leads the images of the LCD 4 illuminated by a back light 5 provided on the camera main body 1 to the eye 50 of the wearing person by performing enlargement and the correction of aberration, etc., by reflecting them on reflection surfaces 7 and 6 in the prism 2. In such a manner, by almost matching the optical axis center of the camera for fetching the videos and the images with the position of the eye for observing the video images, the line of sight of fetching the images at the position of the eye is matched.
