Abstract:
To provide a capping device which can remove a content adhered to an inner side of a cap and an outer side of a neck part of a container by liquid splash occurring during transportation as much as possible.SOLUTION: A capping device 6 includes: a second rotating body R2 (transporting means) which transports a container 2 filled with a liquid content; and a capping head 11 which moves in synchronization with the container 2 transported by the second rotating body R2 and holds a cap 5 above the container 2. The capping device includes a cap cleaning nozzle 31 which jets cleaning fluid to an inner side of the cap 5 held by the capping head 11 on a moving locus of the container 2 moved by the second rotating body R2 and at an upstream side of an attachment position of the cap 5 attached by the capping head 11. The cap cleaning nozzle 31 jets the cleaning fluid to the inner side of the cap 5 and then the capping head 11 attaches the cap 5 to the container 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
