To provide a car-mounted monitoring device to monitor criminal deeds for a car such as hit-and-run or break into a car for theft.

The car-mounted monitoring device includes an on-board camera which photographs around the car for monitoring hit-and-run, break into a car for theft, and leaves the images in a memory as evidence. Two vibration sensors are installed in front and in the rear of the car body, and when an abnormal vibration is sensed while the car is stopping (unmanned condition generated by the driver locking the key), it is photographed by wide-angle CCD cameras mounted in four places on the car body. The photographed images are stored in the memory.
