Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: The compd. of formula I (n is 2 or 3; R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is H or lower alkyl; R3 is H or lower alkyl).
EXAMPLE: N-methyl-N-[2-(methylamino)ethyl]carbamic acid 4-methoxyphenyl ester hydrochloric acid.
USE: Useful as a prodrug for administrating 4-hydroxyanilyl to melanoma.
PROCESS: The compd. of the formula I is obtd. by bringing the nomoblocked alkylene diamine of formula II (Pr is a protecting group and tert-butoxycarbonyl, benzyloxycarbonyl) and the chloroformate of formula III into reaction in the presence of a base (e.g.; triethylamine) in a solvent, such as THF, then removing the protecting group.
