To solve the problem that in a hollow face type carbide tipped saw, a grinding length of a rake face is long, a grindstone can not be sent out to a tooth room side, grinding time is required, a biassed wear is generated in the grinding stone, a life of the grinding stone becomes short and cost is increased.
In the carbide tipped saw wherein the tip on which a recess is formed is fixed to a center in a tooth width W direction of a rake face in order to form a lateral rake angle of an angle θ equal to those of left and right side face cutting edges by seeing the tip of the tooth width W in a parallel direction of rake surface from a peripheral rake surface side, the rake surface has at least two rake surfaces of a first rake surface and a second rake surface. The saw contains the tip having the recess in both of the first rake surface and the second rake surface.
