Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide absorbent having excellent absorbing property, and having strength (especially abrasion resistance) enduring use in a continuous treatment system.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a carbon dioxide absorbent includes a process for mixing a hydrophilic fiber, a porous powder, and a hydrophilic binder aqueous dispersion, pulverizing and drying them to produce porous particles composed of the hydrophilic fiber and the porous powder by a hydrophilic binder, and a process for preparing an amine solution having concentration of an amine compound of 5% to 70% and temperature of 10°C to 100°C, impregnating the porous particle into the amine solution, and ventilation drying the porous particles carrying the amine compound. A carbon dioxide absorbent is manufactured by carrying the amine compound on the porous particles composed by the hydrophilic fiber and the porous powder by the hydrophilic binder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
