NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula RCOOH (R is 7W21C hydrocarbon containing at least one epoxy in structure).
EXAMPLE: Epoxidized linoleic acid.
USE: A carcinostatic agent suppressing side effects and showing improved actions. Preferably liposome form consisting of the compound and phospholipid.
PREPARATION: A compound shown by the formula is obtained by a well-known method wherein a fatty acid or fatty acid ester is reacted with an organic peracid in an inert solvent such as chloroform, etc. The compound shown by the formula or an ester thereof and phospholipid are preferably processed into a carcinostatic agent in a liposome form. The liposome is obtained by reacting the compound shown by the formula with an equivalent of a phosphatidic acid derivative.
