Abstract:
To realize a card printer in which print efficiency can be enhanced significantly.
When printing is started following to end of printing in a card printer for printing an image based on a print signal onto a card material by pressing a head against a platen through the card material, the head pressed against the platen through the card material is separated from the platen to keep a specified interval and the card material is carried to be positioned with respect to the platen while being headed.
