PURPOSE: To provide a carrying belt where speed fluctuation is hardly caused when the carrying belt passes a roller part to hold the carrying belt and has a sufficient tensile strength, and provide a transfer member carrying device for an image forming device employing the carrying belt.
CONSTITUTION: In a transfer member carrying device 14, both ends part of a thermal-fusion type film having the specified thickness and width are laminated, and the laminated part are fused and formed thicker than other parts, and at the same time, a transfer member carrying belt 8 of endless shape where the transfer member P is capable of being mounted on the surface is provided. The thickness of a part held by an encoder roller 11 and a back-up roller 12 in the width direction of the laminated part of the transfer member carrying belt 8 is formed partially thinner than the thickness of other laminated parts.
