To provide an electric wheelchair also functioning as a caster walker and provide a control method desirable for a caster walker/electric wheelchair.SOLUTION: The positions of rear wheels 140 of the electric wheelchair with hand-operated handles 105 used by a helper are placed with backward offsets from positions directly below the hand-operated handles 105.
