Abstract:
To provide a catalyst for a side chain alkylation in which activity and selectivity are high and service life is long.
The catalyst may be doped by a compound of at least one kind of alkali metals and/or alkaline earth metals and contains at least one kind of alkali metal applied onto a spinel compound or an inverse-spinel compound used as a carrier. Weight proportion of alkali metals to the carrier is 0.01:5. When a doping agent exists, weight proportion of the doping agent to the carrier is 0.01:5.
