Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the heat of reaction in an exothermic catalytic reaction in the presence of a catalyst such as a transition-metal complex and to separate and recover the reaction product simply on an industrial scale.
CONSTITUTION: Reactants undergo an exothermic reaction in the presence of a nonvolatile catalyst. In this case, two zones are alternately used as a reaction zone and a completed reaction zone, the reactants are supplied batchwise to the reaction zone to allow to react, the completed reaction zone is heated by the heat of reaction generated in the reaction zone, and the reaction product retained in the completed reaction zone is vaporized and discharged.
