Title:
CATCHING OF COMPOUND IN STEROL VESICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2706649
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prove a method for catching a biologically active substance in a sterol vesicle suitable for administration in vivo so as to facilitate use of a water-soluble active substance and administration of a water-insoluble active substance.
SOLUTION: This method for catching of a water-insoluble compound in a sterol vesicle comprises dissolving a water-insoluble compound in an organic solvent, removing the organic solvent to leave a film consisting of the water- insoluble compound and adding a sterol vesicle composed of a salt of a sterol organic derivative to the film. Alternatively, the water-insoluble compound and an organic acid derivative of a sterol in a state of a salt, capable of forming a double layer in an organic solvent are both dissolved in the organic solvent, the organic solvent is evaporated to leave a film containing the compound and the organic acid derivative of the sterol in a state of a salt and an aqueous phase is added to the film and shaken so that a milk white suspension of a completely closed multilamella vesicle is formed to give the objective method for catching the water-soluble compound in the sterol vesicle.
