Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leakage electric field and reduce the temperature rise of a deflection yoke by providing a strip-like electric field reducing piece between a funnel section and the deflection yoke.
SOLUTION: A dish-shaped panel section 2 and a funnel section 3 having a neck section 3a are integrally formed into an envelope 100. A smoothing circuit of the DC high voltage from an FBT 9 is formed with a conductive film 10a applied on the outer face side of the funnel section 3 and a conductive film 10b applied on the funnel section 3. An anode button 11 serving as a socket for connecting the output terminal of the FBT 9 and an aperture grille 5 serving as a color selecting mechanism are electrically connected, and a strip-like electric field reducing piece 13 is fixed on the outer face of the funnel section 3 via a fixing tape 14.
