Abstract:
To provide a cellulose derivative that has high hydrophilicity, and enables its molded article to attain excellent elongation performance at break.SOLUTION: A cellulose derivative has an aliphatic acyl group, and an organic group with terminal oxyalkylene chains, which are substitutions for at least some hydrogen atoms in the hydroxyl groups of cellulose. The aliphatic acyl group has an average degree of substitution of 0.5-2.5, and the organic group with terminal oxyalkylene chains has an average degree of substitution of 0.5-2.5. The average residual level of the hydroxyl groups is 0-1.0.SELECTED DRAWING: None
