To provide a centrifugal dehydrating machine which achieves a simple design and a safety in operation.

A spinning drum 16 is arranged to receive washings through an opening 20 and the drum 16 has the opening 20 turned aside and is made tiltable, centering around a horizontal shaft 21 between a takeoff position for taking out the washings and an insertion position for inserting the washings into the drum 16. The drum 16 is also made tiltable almost to an erection position (spin drying position) for spin drying with the opening 20 turned upward.
