The centrifugal fan includes a plurality of fan blades 21 mutually provided at intervals in a circumferential direction. The fan blade 21 has a leading edge 26 receiving an inflow of air, and a trailing edge 27 sending out air. A blade surface 23 extending between the leading edge 26 and the trailing edge 27 is formed on the fan blade 21. The blade surface 23 comprises a positive pressure surface 25 disposed at a side of a rotating direction of the centrifugal fan 10, and a negative pressure surface 24 disposed at a rear side of the positive pressure surface 25. When the fan blade 21 is cut by a plane orthogonal to a rotary shaft of the centrifugal fan, the blade has a blade cross-sectional shape formed with a recessed part 56 and a recessed part 57 in the positive pressure surface 25 and the negative pressure surface 24, respectively.
