Abstract:

To provide a material and a method having excellent mechanical property as a restorative dental material and is resistant to the tooth fracture caused by occlusal pressure or abrasion by chewing.

The ceramic powder is coated on the dentin and irradiated with laser to be molten together with the apatite of the dentin and form the ceramic sealant 1. The ceramic powder is composed of hydroxyapatite, fluoro apatite, α-TCP, β-TCP, TTCP, fluorosilicate aluminum glass, coral, calcium carbonate and zinc oxide.
