Title:
CHAIN LOCK APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6299576
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
Inside the lock is arranged a shaft (1) which carries at least two diametrically opposite cams (4,5) and on one shaft end (2) of which a key can be attached fixedly in terms of rotation. Within the lock body (6) there are blocking or locking elements (9,10) which, in the released state, are radially displaceable or pivotable and are under the effect of springs (40) pressing them radially inwards. To lock the blocking elements (9,10) there is a plurality of blocking pins (11) which block the slideably displaceable blocking elements (9,10) or which interact with a blocking effect with the blocking elements via special blocking extensions (57) on the latter. The blocking pins (11) are under the effect of springs (12,60) pressing them into the blocking position. The lock is released by means of key tappets of adjustably effective length which act directly on the blocking pins (11) or on intermediate supplementary pins (27) and which push these back. There can also be means of blocking the blocking elements (9,10) in their outwardly pushed or pivoted position, namely the open position.
