Abstract:
To provide a chair capable of easily maintaining a seating posture holding an angle made by a thigh part and the trunk at an obtuse angle in the state that a patient's thigh part is inclined downward toward the front.SOLUTION: A chair 10 includes a seat part 18 and a backrest part 20. The backrest part 20 can hold angle θ made by a sitter 300 with the seat part 18 when the sitter is seated at an obtuse angle. A front part of the seat part 18 is provided with a holding part 50 provided for a back part of the seat part 18 so that it is vertically tiltable. In the back part of the holding part 50, a recess supporting the hip part 306 of the sitter 300 is formed. On both sides in the horizontal direction of the seat part 18, a set of left and right upper extension parts 38L that protrude above the center part in the horizontal direction of the seat part 18 and can support at least the hip part 306 of the sitter 300 from both sides are provided. The seat part 18 is configured to be capable of adjusting a gap between the set of left and right upward extension parts 38L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
