To provide a smoking article wrapping material which comprises a wrapper material and a flavorant patch, where the flavorant patch comprises a botanical material other than tobacco.SOLUTION: A smoking article wrapping material 1 comprises a wrapper material 3 and a flavorant patch 10, where the flavorant patch comprises a botanical material other than tobacco. An embodiment comprises a smokeable material rod 2, a wrapper 3 about the smokeable material rod, and a flavorant patch 10 at a position along the length of the smokeable material rod, where the flavorant patch comprises a botanical material other than tobacco. A smoking article wrapping material comprises a wrapper material, first and second tobacco flavor patches positioned differently from each other along the smokeable material rod when the wrapping material is wrapped about a smokeable material rod. A smoking article comprises a smokeable material rod, a wrapper about the smokeable material rod, a first tobacco flavor patch along the length of the smokeable material rod, and a second tobacco flavor patch along the length of the smokeable material rod, where the first and second tobacco flavor patches do not contain a flavorant other than tobacco.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
