To provide a characteristics evaluating device capable of evaluating synthetically the performance of an adaptive array antenna in an electric wave propagating space by means of computerized simulation.
The characteristics evaluating device is composed of: a directionality leadout means 2 to lead out the amplitude and phase of the directionality at the whole three-dimensional angle of each of a plurality of antennae mounted on a mobile phone; an electric wave propagation calculating means 3 to lead out the signal intensity, amplitude, and phase of the whole three-dimensional angle at each reception point using the geometric-optical method; an adaptive algorithm means 4 to lead out the synthesized directionality using the adaptive algorithm; and an adaptive array antenna evaluating means 5 to synthesize the signal intensity at the reception point with the final amplitude and phase directionalities of each antenna produced by the adaptive algorithm means 4, to lead out the signal intensity obtained at the final reception point being divided into the desired wave and the obstruction wave, and to conduct the evaluation of the adaptive array antenna in the electric wave propagating environment.
