Title:
CHARGER FOR MOTOR-OPERATED VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3632776
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a charger for a motor-operated vehicle in which a main battery for driving is preferentially charged even if a main switch is erroneously operated and a sub-battery for control and auxiliary unit system can be simultaneously charged.
CONSTITUTION: A charging voltage VJ from a charger 2 is supplied to a main battery 3 via a diode 27 to be charged. Charge priority control means 5 holds the contact 22b of a relay OFF even if a main switch 10 is ON in the charging state, and stops power supply to a controller 8. Since the power supply to the controller 8 is stopped, it does not become an operable state. The contact 21b of a relay is held ON in the charging state, a down converter 6 is operated, and the sub-battery 4 is charged by the low-voltage DC output of the converter 6.
