PURPOSE: To facilitate removal of a snap-on closure at a specific position while keeping child-resistant functions by providing a part of a closure skirt which is elastically flexible during the removal of the closure.

CONSTITUTION: When a locking lug 28 does not align with a notch of a locking rib 25 and if downward force is applied to a closure 20, the locking lug 28 and a snap bead 31 engage with a lower part of the locking rib 25, so that an orientation of rotation and attachment of the closure 20 with respect to a container allows the closure 20 to snap on a neck portion, such that the closure 20 may not easily come off. Where the locking lug 28 aligns with the notch, only the snap bead 31 engages with the lower part of the locking rib 25 to snap-lock the closure 20. A user applies upward force to a finger tab 29 at this time, whereby a closure skirt 24 flexes radially outwardly at a non- fragile portion of breakage or interruption provided on the skirt 24 to have the closure 20 released for easy removal.
