Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily open a screw cap or a plug which is tightly closed and to prevent hands from being injured by a cut ring of the screw cap or a metal cover which is put on the plug.
CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 14 is formed on the inner surface of an external cap 12 so as not to move along a root 20 of thread of a screw cap 30. The external cap 12 of a cup-shape is slipped onto the screw cap 30 from above to fit the protrusion 14 into the root 20 of the cap 30. By turning the cap 12, the protrusion 14 is brought into contact with an area between the root 20 and crest 18 of thread so that the turning force of the cap 12 is transmitted to the cap 30 through the contact area, thereby turning the cap 30.
