Title:
CIRCUIT FOR INTERPOLATING SCANNING LINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6112185
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove line frickers of interlaced television signals by producing an interpolation signal from motion information of a subject by changing the subject appropriately and obtaining a television signal with doubled scanning lines.

CONSTITUTION: A television signal subjected to the interlaced scanning is added to an interpolation signal generator circuit 2 through an input terminal 1 and simultaneously inputted to a motion detection circuit 3. Motion information 3a obtained from the circuit 3 controls the circuit 2. Signals (m) and (n) of two scanning lines obtained from the circuit 2 are subjected to the time compression by 1/2 in a time compression circuit 4, converted into a television signal which has half the scanning period of an input television signal and double the scanning lines of the input television signal and is subjected to the sequential scanning, and supplied to a display device from an output terminal 5.
