Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device which is equipped on an indexing device which indexes a spindle, which is rotatably supported in a frame storage hole via a bearing, at an angular position set by rotary drive by a drive unit, which includes an operation flow passage which connects an air supply device for supplying compressed air and a pressure chamber in the clamp device, and which is operated by supply of compressed air from the air supply device thereby holding the angular position of the spindle, said clamp device being so configured as to suppress an increase in a device cost and capable of shortening a time until a clamped state of the spindle by the clamp device is realized.SOLUTION: A clamp device in an indexing device comprises a pressure transmission part which is a pressure transmission part interposed in an operation flow passage and in which a piston is slidably mounted, and an incompressible fluid is charged in an operation flow passage on a pressure side rather than a piston in the pressure transmission part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
