Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a filter layer cleaning device by which turbid matter caught inside a filter layer is more effectively removed.
CONSTITUTION: Cleaning devices are properly provided not only on the surface of a filter layer 21 but also inside the filter layer 21 and have the function of jetting washing water sideways and/or upward to the filter layer 21. The device is provided with the function of jetting air together with washing water from nozzles 4 of the cleaning device and, as necessary, air is sucked by the pressure of washing water and mixed in water jetted by a nozzle.
