Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which can effectively remove toners remaining after transfer and deposited materials on a photoreceptor and can maintain cleanability for a long period even with an image forming apparatus using toners formed as spherical and smaller grain size toners.
SOLUTION: The cleaning system has, successively from an upstream side in the rotating direction of an image carrier 1, two blades; a first cleaning blade 11 and a second cleaning blade 12. The second cleaning blade 12 is a blade for lubrication having a two-layered structure of a blade parent body layer 12a and a lubricant particle-containing layer 12b. A polishing agent may be dispersed into the layer 12b.
