Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plate-shaped body from disturbing the storage of a cleaning instrument composed of the plate-shaped body, with which a sheet for sweeping dirt is fitted, and a long handle.
SOLUTION: A cleaning instrument 1 is composed of a rectangular plate- shaped body 2 for fitting a sheet 5 for sweeping dirt, long handle 4 rising from the plate-shaped body 2, and free joint 3 for connecting the plate-shaped body 2 and the long handle 4. The free joint 3 is composed of a pair of 1st supporting arms 11 formed on the plate-shaped body 2, a pair of 2nd supporting arms 22 formed on the long handle 4, and connecting member 23 interposed between the 1st and 2nd supporting arms 11 and 22 and turnably supported by them. The thickness of the connecting member 23 is more than the dimension between the 2nd supporting arms 22, the 2nd supporting arms 22 are in press-contact with the connecting member 23 and at the same time, the part in press-contact with the 2nd supporting arms 22 at the time of turning down the long handle 2 is formed especially thick.
