Abstract:

To provide a clear, coated stainless steel sheet preventing an adherent fingerprint from being distinguished.

In the clear, coated stainless steel sheet, the contact angle with water of the surface of the clear coating film is 60° or below. In a method for producing the stainless steel sheet, a coating for forming a clear coating film in which 0.5-50 pts. wt. of the partial hydrolysis condensation product of a tetraalkoxy silane is incorporated in relation to 100 pts. wt. of a base resin is applied to form a dry coating film of 0.5-20 μm in thickness and heated at an ambient temperature of 150-300°C for 20-120 s.
